Square Off
Robotic auto-move chessboard with online integration.
About Square Off
Square Off (Infivention / Emotix) makes premium robotic chessboards where the opponent's pieces physically move themselves via magnets underneath. The flagship Miko Chess Grand runs $549 and the Square Off Pro is $279. The companion app bridges the hardware to Chess.com and Lichess, so you can play a ranked online game on a real board. Direct competitor to DGT's electronic boards and Chessnut's line — Square Off is the only one where the opponent's pieces move on their own, which sells itself. Availability has been spotty historically; check stock before recommending.
